Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Field Hose Fitter Technician to join our team in and around our Pirtek Crawley branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic hoses and systems in the field. Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair hydraulic hoses and fittings on-site at client locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of hydraulic systems to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic system problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during operations.
- Assist with the training of less experienced team members as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and technical information.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hydraulic fitter or similar role within the field service industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, and associated tools.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Willingness to travel extensively across various sites as required.

Pay: £25,420.00-£45,582.02 per year
