Purpose of the role:
To cover the dayshift and carry out tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager and Lead Shift Engineer to ensure the clubhouse is maintained to the expected standard. Requests will include daily tasks and planned maintenance work.
This role is based over three days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance tasks as directed in all trades.
- Keep workshop and associated areas safe and tidy and maintain adequate stock levels and ensure materials are fit for task.
- Comply with Club rules, HASAW and COSHH
- Order materials needed for the day to day running of the department
- Respond to all requests in a timely manner
- Support all other departments and team members in their daily tasks
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies, and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation
- Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Maintain effective Health and Safety systems, including completion of risk assessments and method statements and tool box talks where appropriate
