The Role will include the following :
· Unloading of deliveries of varying size, will include the use of forklifts and cranes in some cases.
· Unpacking, inspection and storage of deliveries.
· Booking in on a computer and marking of goods.
· Deliveries / collections in the local area and sometimes further afield will be required as well as transporting goods between our own sites.
· Issuing tools, equipment and consumables to workers throughout the day.
· General ‘everyday’ site maintenance across all company premises.
· Regularly replenishing stock in unmanned satellite stores.
The successful applicants will possess the following skills and qualities:
· Have a positive attitude with an open minded approach to daily tasks.
· The role will be fluid between our two sites, so a trusted candidate will be required to carry out tasks with minimum supervision.
· Able to work as part of a team or independently.
· Methodical approach to organising and documenting goods in/out.
· Able to prioritise and time-manage tasks efficiently.
· Physically fit and able to carry out manual lifting/handling tasks.
· Driving license - Essential.
· Forklift license - Essential.
· Combi-lift / sideloader license - desirable but training can be provided.
· Telehandler / Manitou license - desirable but training can be provided.
· Computer literate.
· Engineering background would be a distinct advantage.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
