Pinnacle Group are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager to lead our Caretaking team and oversee on-site Sub-Contractors at Ebbsfleet Academy
This pivotal role ensures that both internal and external school facilities are fully operational, safe, and visually well-maintained. You’ll be responsible for delivering high standards of service, ensuring Health & Safety compliance, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all users of the site.

Key responsibilities:

Lead, motivate and support a team of FM staff and sub-contractors in the day-to-day FM service delivery, which includes cateringand cleaning services.

Delegate PPM and reactive duties within the remit of the caretaking team. Monitor satisfactory completion and Helpdesk closure.

Proactively manage the site teams through self-monitoring performance requirements as laid down within the contract project agreements.

Assist in achieving all the KPI’s as detailed within the contract project agreements for all FM service delivery ensuring that Service Failure Points are at an absolute minimum.

Audit caretaking services and report in-line with contract requirements

Local management of all Hard Services delivered either in-house or by contractors –effective management of contractors on site

Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and always liaise with the PPM co-ordinator to ensure nothing is missed.

Manage project specific risks including the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of risk management plans.
Key Requirements

At least 3 years of Facilities/site Management experience within a challenging environment is essential, preferably within the Public Sector or PFI environment.

Have a good understanding of current statutory regulations and compliance.

Demonstrable experience in managing contractors through KPI’s and SLA’s to achieve high performance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to manage own workload and prioritise where necessary
