This is a rewarding opportunity to work flexibly, picking your own shifts supporting our 9 care providers we across Pembrokeshire by providing essential care that enhances quality of life while developing your skills in a supportive environment. We also support a number of individuals within their own homes to be able to retain their independence and continue to be a part of their local community. All positions are paid, recognizing the valuable contribution you bring every day.
Duties
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Develop and follow tailored care plans to meet each individual’s unique needs and preferences
- Support clients in maintaining their independence within their homes or care environments
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive between client locations safely and efficiently to provide consistent support
- Assist with light household tasks and medication reminders as outlined in care plans
Skills
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between locations
- Experience working in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact clearly and empathetically with clients and team members
- Proficiency with IT systems used for documentation and scheduling purposes
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
