Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Personal Assistant / Care Worker to join our dedicated team. Duties
- Assist client with daily activities such as personal hygiene, catheter care, dressing, and mobility to promote independence
- Tracheostomy and PEG tube management with full training given
- Support client in managing their care plans by following prescribed routines and documenting progress accurately
- Accompany client to appointments, social activities, or errands using his own vehicle, ensuring safe transportation at all times
- Communicate effectively with client, family members, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care needs
- Maintain detailed records of care provided
- Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and medication reminders to support overall health
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is highly desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with client and team members
- Familiarity with care plans, health documentation is advantageous
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills necessary for building trusting relationships with client
