About the Role
Clinica Engineering Medical Solutions provides medical technology, clinical equipment support and healthcare engineering services to hospitals, clinics and specialist care providers. We are looking for an experienced Clinical Applications Specialist to support the implementation, training and effective use of medical devices and clinical systems.
You will work closely with healthcare professionals, technical teams and customer stakeholders to ensure that products are introduced safely and used correctly. The role combines clinical knowledge, product expertise and customer support, making it suitable for someone who can communicate confidently in both clinical and technical environments.
You will also support demonstrations, user training, product evaluations and post-installation follow-up across assigned customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Product Training: Deliver structured training to nurses, clinicians, technicians and other healthcare users on the safe and effective use of medical devices and clinical systems.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers, clearly explaining clinical benefits, features and appropriate applications.
Implementation Support: Assist with product installations, system configuration, user onboarding and go-live activities at healthcare facilities.
Clinical Guidance: Provide practical application support to help customers integrate products into existing clinical workflows.
Customer Support: Respond to product-use questions, investigate application-related concerns and coordinate technical support when required.
Needs Assessment: Meet with clinical teams to understand their operational requirements and recommend suitable product configurations or training approaches.
Product Evaluation: Support customer trials and evaluations by gathering feedback, monitoring product use and documenting outcomes.
Documentation: Prepare training materials, user guides, application notes, visit reports and customer-support records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, engineering, service, quality and regulatory teams to address customer needs and improve product support.
Post-Installation Follow-Up: Review customer adoption after installation and provide additional training or guidance where needed.
Clinical Feedback: Collect insights from healthcare users and share relevant product feedback with internal development and management teams.
Compliance: Ensure all demonstrations, training sessions and customer interactions follow applicable healthcare, safety and company procedures.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 2 to 4 years of experience in clinical applications, medical-device training, healthcare technology, nursing, biomedical services or a related field.
Clinical Knowledge: Good understanding of healthcare environments, patient-care workflows and the practical use of clinical equipment.
Product Training: Experience delivering demonstrations, user education or technical training to healthcare professionals.
Communication: Ability to explain technical and clinical information clearly to users with different levels of experience.
Customer Focus: A professional and responsive approach to supporting hospitals, clinics and healthcare teams.
Technical Confidence: Comfortable learning medical devices, software platforms and equipment features in detail.
Organisation: Ability to coordinate training schedules, customer visits, implementation activities and follow-up actions.
Problem-Solving: A practical approach to identifying application issues and working with technical teams to resolve them.
Documentation: Strong attention to detail when preparing training records, visit reports and product-support materials.
Qualifications: A degree, diploma or professional qualification in nursing, biomedical science, healthcare technology, clinical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to customer sites within the assigned region when required.

Pay: £2,700.00-£3,200.00 per month
