An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager in Preston East Community Mental Health Team.
As the Deputy Team Manager, you will:
Have at least 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally in a community mental health setting.
Support the Team Leader in clinical and operational leadership of a busy multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team.
Provide supervision to colleagues within the team.
Review and analyse performance data in conjunction with the Team Leader to seek continual improvement in key quality benchmarks.
Deputise if required for Team Manager in submitting reports, attending and/or chairing meetings.
Assist the Team Leader with HR processes within the team if required such as sickness monitoring or performance issues
Assist in rota planning to ensure the team continues to always function effectively.
There is also an expectation that the post holder will also carry a small caseload of patients.
Preston East CMHT, based at West Strand House in the heart of Preston, delivers assessment, care and treatment to a large, varied and culturally diverse population, bringing challenge but also reward. You will be a joining an experienced, resilient and welcoming team from a variety of backgrounds.
The team is multidisciplinary in nature and the successful applicant could come from any recognised suitable core profession, nursing, occupational therapy or social work.
