WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
- Support managers with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Supervise and support children's learning and development at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Liaise with and support parents and family members
- Assist with preparing lunches, snacks, and cleaning nursery equipment
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality where appropriate
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated nursery team
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and fundraising events
- Support the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with daily nursery routines and activities
- Encourage children's learning through play and planned educational activities
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Study towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
- Develop knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years education
- Build the skills required for a long-term career in the childcare sector
