Courtyard by Marriott London Heathrow, managed by Legacy Hotels and Resorts boasts 244 bedrooms, 10 meeting and events rooms, and three busy restaurants with rooftop dining offering stunning views over Heathrow Airport’s runway. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic & experienced Night Auditor to join our Front Office nights team.
Job Summary
As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for completing all end-of-day front office and accounting functions while delivering exceptional guest service throughout the night.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complete end-of-day night audit procedures, including posting charges to guest accounts and rolling the business date.
- Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, cheques, debit, and credit card transactions.
- Handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges accurately.
- Run night audit backup systems and ensure all financial records are securely maintained.
- Print contingency lists for emergency preparedness and guest tracking.
- Process guest check-ins, assign rooms, and activate/reissue room keys using the key system.
- Sell rooms to walk-in guests based on availability.
- Operate the telephone switchboard, handle wake-up calls, and deliver guest messages.
- Complete Room Rate Variance Reports and ensure accurate rate postings.
- Balance and secure the cash bank at the end of the shift and complete cash drops in line with accounting procedures.
- Ensure all operational and financial procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- At least 1 years night auditor experience.
- A strong team player, while also confident working independently.
- Take pride in delivering exceptional, personalised customer service.
- Be comfortable working night shifts and standing for extended periods.
