Fire & Security Engineer – Service & Installation
1st Reaction Security Limited is a family-run organisation who provide the full spectrum of manned and electronic security and fire services, due to continued growth we are looking for two more multi skilled engineers. We are open to one of the positions being purely service and fault finding.
The Roles
The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of a range of security and fire systems, including:
- Installing and commissioning intruder alarm systems (primarily Pyronix Euro)
- Installing and commissioning IP CCTV systems (primarily Hikvision)
- Installing, servicing and commissioning fire alarm systems (primarily CTEC and Kentec)
- Installing access control systems (primarily Paxton and ACT)
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance visits
- Attending service call-outs on a rotational basis and carrying out fault finding and repairs
- Liaising directly with customers and maintaining a professional approach at all times
- Completing electronic job sheets, service reports and other documentation accurately
About You
We are looking for an experienced engineer who takes pride in their work and delivers a high standard of customer service.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Security Engineer on the equipment listed above
- Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of fire and security systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused
- Full UK driving licence

Salary
£42,000 – £46,000 per year, depending on experience, skills and qualifications
Pay: £42,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
