We are recruiting an Assistant Practitioner to join our Duty Service. You will be part of a team working with all incoming referrals to the service.
You will support in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of people at immediate risk, provide advice, guidance and signposting.
You will ensure that people who are able to wait for longer term support can do so safely and you will liaise with colleagues in other parts of the service to ensure that care arrangements are in place.
This is a very busy and fast paced role.
You will have direct contact with people and families over the telephone but will not be required to carry out home visits.
We're looking to appoint either a Supported Assistant Practitioner (Scale F) or an experienced Assistant Practitioner (Scale G) and require a CV and Supporting Statement from you. Our Supported Assistant Practitioners (Scale F) join our 9-month, bespoke support programme ( The Assistant Practitioner Development Programme ), enabling you to progress to an Assistant Practitioner role (Scale G) subject to completing the programme satisfactorily.
