Office Administrator - Part time
Are you an experienced Administrator looking for the next step in your career?
We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join a growing business and play an important role in keeping the day-to-day office operations running smoothly. This will be a permanent but part-time role.
This is unlikely to develop into a full time role so please only apply if part time hours work for you. We can consider different hours and days that might suit, however the ideal would be approx 3 days a week. This will also be all office based in Daresbury.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with solid administration experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and ownership across the office. As Office Administrator you will be responsible for a varied range of administrative and office coordination duties, including:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of the office
- Answering calls, emails and general enquiries
- Welcoming visitors and acting as a key point of contact
- Managing meeting rooms, diaries and appointments
- Ordering stationery, office supplies and equipment
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and service providers
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and filing systems
- Preparing reports, documents and spreadsheets
- Processing invoices, expenses and purchase orders
- Coordinating post, couriers and deliveries
- Supporting the onboarding of new employees
- Assisting with HR and general employee administration
- Helping to maintain office health & safety and compliance records
- Coordinating office maintenance and facilities requirements
- Organising meetings, events and team activities
- Providing administrative support to senior management
- Identifying opportunities to improve office processes and efficiency
- Supporting with other ad-hoc administrative duties as required
