Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, take orders, and provide prompt, attentive service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks in line with venue
- standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including surfaces, equipment, and glassware.
- Handle card transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Monitor customer behaviour and adhere to licensing laws, including responsible alcohol service.
- Restock bar supplies, change kegs, and ensure displays are tidy and well-presented.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver smooth service during busy periods.
- Follow health & safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.
- Support setup and close-down duties, including stock counts where required.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous bar, hospitality, or customerfacing experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of wine, beer styles, and drink preparation.
- Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health
- regulations
