We are recruiting Early Years Stronger Practice Advisers (SPA) to work across Essex, Thurrock and Southend.
This is the latest iteration of the Experts and Mentors Programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced early years professionals to make a real impact by supporting settings to improve quality and helping to give children the Best Start in Life.
Group-Based Provision SPA - 4 roles
You will currently be working within a setting/school directly with children, or working within a local authority early years team directly supporting settings.
Childminder SPA - 1 role
You will currently be working as a childminder/childminder assistant, or be working within a local authority supporting childminders.
Your setting will be reimbursed an allocated day rate of £500 per day for group-based providers and £400 per day for childminders.
The roles are funded until March 2028 in the first instance, with the possibility of contracts being extended dependent on funding.
Group-based providers will provide support for up to three settings per term and childminders will support one cluster of up to four childminders per term.
You will have experience of working with children aged 0 to 4 years old in an early childhood education context, and you will be qualified to Level 6 for the group-based SPA role and Level 3 for the childminder SPA role.
