We are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive person with a background in the beauty industry to take responsibility for the salon's marketing, social media presence and operational support.
This is not just a social media role.
We're looking for someone who understands the beauty industry, knows how to attract new clients, build a strong brand and contribute to the overall growth and success of the salon.
Your responsibilitiesMarketing & Social Media
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy to help grow the salon.
- Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Produce daily Stories and regular posts, Reels and videos.
- Capture professional photos and videos within the salon to showcase treatments, results and the team.
- Plan and promote seasonal offers, events and new treatments.
- Monitor social media performance and continuously improve results.
- Identify new opportunities to increase bookings and attract new clients.
- Ensure all online content reflects the salon's brand and professional standards.
Salon Operations
- Support the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the salon.
- Work closely with the salon owner.
- Help maintain high standards of customer service and presentation.
- Suggest improvements to salon procedures, marketing and client experience.
- Assist with in-salon promotions and local marketing activities.
- Provide reception cover when required during holidays, sickness or staff absence.
- Support the team and help ensure agreed procedures are followed.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience within the beauty industry.
- Has experience managing social media for a business.
- Understands how to grow a beauty business through effective marketing.
- Is creative and confident producing high-quality content.
- Can work independently and take initiative.
- Is highly organised and reliable.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Is confident interacting with both clients and staff.
- Enjoys finding solutions and bringing new ideas to the business.
- Is passionate about helping a business grow rather than simply maintaining it.

Pay
Salary will depend on experience and responsibilities.
The role combines a defined social media and marketing workload with additional paid operational support within the salon when required.
