Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chiller / Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing of Heat Pumps and chiller systems across various facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in mechanical systems and contribute to the efficient operation of our infrastructure. The position requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead maintenance activities effectively And to assist in teaching other engineers with a cross skill approach .
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on chillers and heat pumps and related mechanical/electrical equipment.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings to facilitate accurate maintenance and repair work.
- Lead Engineer maintenance teams during complex repair projects, ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance logs Via our tablet management system .
- Assist in the optimisation of system efficiency through troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in air conditioning and chiller systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams related to HVAC equipment.
- Proven leadership abilities to manage maintenance teams or projects effectively.
- Skilled in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and system optimisation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, team members.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
