Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will be organised, attentive to detail, and passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcome throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate billing
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during service hours
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience through friendly conversation and attentive service
- Manage busy periods effectively through excellent time management skills
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles, is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good understanding of basic maths for handling payments and giving correct change
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
