Hours
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Temporary agency position with potential to become permanent
The role of Senior Branch Assistant:
- Provide cover across multiple busy trade centres throughout South Wales
- Understand customer requirements and deliver excellent service
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels in line with customer requirements
- Ensure stock availability and locate deliveries
- Pick and prepare customer orders
- Process customer returns and resolve queries
- Supply the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to customers
- Build positive relationships through regular face-to-face interaction with customers and on-site personnel
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Support customer engagement and continuously improve customer satisfaction
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures within a heavy machinery environment (full training provided)
The ideal Senior Branch Assistant:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
- Confident dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Basic computer skills essential
- Experience using SAP advantageous but not required — full training provided
- Ability to adapt to different working environments and customer sites
- Understanding of stock control and order processing is desirable
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to travel across South Wales
- Ability to work across multiple sites to cover holidays and absences
Based primarily in Pontypridd, travelling to various customer sites across South Wales to provide cover for holidays, sickness and other absences.
