8pm-4am - Monday to Friday.
Join our dynamic team as a Night Shift Furniture Delivery Driver. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture items from our Stockport warehouse to our Warrington, St Helens and Stretford stores. Your enthusiasm, reliability, and excellent communication skills will ensure stock moves accurately and carefully. Duties
- Safely operate large luton vans to deliver furniture items across designated routes during night shifts
- Load and unload furniture using proper lifting techniques, heavy lifting skills, and warehouse experience to ensure items are secure and undamaged
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory checks, loading vans for the day shift and wrapping any last-minute deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with furniture or heavy goods transportation
- Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving environments with knowledge of safety regulations
- Physical ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly throughout the shift
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially in handling large or bulky items
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
