The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Groundworker to join us on a temporary basis for an upcoming project involving raft foundation construction. You'll be working alongside our site team on foundation prep, formwork, and reinforcement installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excavation and preparation for raft foundations
- Cutting, bending, and fixing rebar/reinforcement to drawings and specification
- Placing and compacting hardcore, DPM, and insulation as required
- Assisting with formwork and concrete pours
- Working safely to site RAMS and company H&S procedures
- General groundworks duties as directed by the Site Supervisor
Requirements:
- Proven experience with raft foundations and rebar fixing (essential)
- Valid CSCS card – Blue (Skilled Worker) minimum (essential — no exceptions)
- Own PPE and hand tools
- Reliable transport to site
- Good understanding of site safety practices
- Right to work in the UK
