About Us
IDEA Design Hub CIC is an award-winning creative education social enterprise delivering innovative art, design and STEAM programmes to schools and communities across London and internationally.
This summer, we are delivering the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme across six London boroughs and are looking for enthusiastic, creative, and reliable individuals to join our team.

- Summer Camp Design Leader
- Summer Camp Design Assistant
Whether you are an experienced educator, teaching assistant, artist, designer, architect, university student, graduate, or youth worker, we would love to hear from you if you are passionate about inspiring children through creativity.
What You'll Do
- Deliver fun, engaging art, design and STEAM activities for children aged 5–16.
- Inspire creativity, confidence and problem-solving through hands-on learning.
- Support children in a safe, inclusive and positive environment.
- Prepare activity materials and assist with setting up and packing away.
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff, schools and community venues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and programme procedures.
Design Leaders will also lead daily sessions, supervise Design Assistants, and ensure activities are delivered to a high standard.

Essential Requirements
- Passion for working with children.
- Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one before employment).
- Ability to travel to one or more programme locations.
Working Hours
- Up to 4 hours per day
- Maximum 20 hours per week
- Monday to Friday during the Summer Holiday Programme
- Morning and/or afternoon shifts depending on programme location

Salary
- £55–£80 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and responsibilities.
