The Events & Visitor Experience Manager is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating and delivering an exciting and commercially successful programme of events and activities at the museum.
The role will ensure that events provide an excellent visitor experience while contributing positively to visitor numbers, admissions income, secondary spend, Gift Aid income, memberships and the overall financial performance of the museum.
The postholder will work closely with all museum teams to ensure that events are well planned, safely delivered and provide a consistent and engaging experience for visitors.
The role will also identify opportunities to improve the museum’s wider visitor experience and encourage visitors to stay longer, spend more and return in the future.

The post is offered on a part-time (0.6FTE), 6-month contract, with the possibility that the contract will be extended.
Pay: £16,000.00-£17,000.00 per year
