Boujon Bakery is looking for a part-time Baking Assistant to join our small team on Gloucester Road, Bristol. This is a seasonal role to start throughout our busiest Christmas season, with the opportunity to grow into a permanent position depending on how you settle in and develop with us.
Hours are varied across weekdays, weekends and evenings, so we're looking for someone flexible.
The role:
- Assist with class prep, batch baking and a variety of day-to-day jobs
- Train up to bake and crumb coat cakes
- Help with packaging
- Help with clean downs and deep cleans
About you:
- Home baking experience is essential — this isn't a beginner role
- Experience with basic icing is ideal
- Previous cake decorating experience preferred
- Flexible and adaptable
- Reliable, with good time management
- Good communication skills
- Enjoys working as part of a fun, small team
- Positive, creative and energetic
