Project Co-ordinator – High-End Residential Glazing
Location: Atherstone, CV9 2EX
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Working Pattern: Office-based
About the Role
We are creating a new Project Co-ordinator role to provide dedicated support to our Project Management team and help ensure our high-end residential glazing projects run smoothly from start to finish.
This is a varied and important role that will sit at the heart of the business, working closely with Project Managers, Procurement, Fitters and other internal teams.
You will help co-ordinate the day-to-day requirements of our projects, ensuring information, materials, meetings and people are in the right place at the right time.
While much of the role will involve supporting our Project Managers with tasks and priorities, we are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and confident enough to use their own initiative. You will be encouraged to identify potential issues, find solutions and look for ways we can continuously improve how we work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Project Management team.
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling and co-ordination.
- Act as a key point of contact for fitters, dealing with general queries and helping to resolve issues where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with project requirements.
- Set up new projects on the CRM, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and complete.
- Co-ordinate and arrange project meetings, ensuring the relevant people are involved and information is available.
- Liaise with internal departments to identify and resolve issues that could impact project delivery.
- Monitor outstanding actions and help ensure key tasks are completed on time.
- Provide effective communication between Project Managers, Procurement, Fitters and other internal teams.
- Identify potential issues and escalate them appropriately, while taking ownership of those that can be resolved independently.
- Support the implementation of new processes and ways of working.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across project administration and co-ordination.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry developments and horizon scan for changes in legislation or regulations that could impact the business or our projects.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure project information is kept up to date.
About You
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, proactive and enjoys being the person who keeps things moving.
You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with different teams, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a project co-ordination, project support, operations or similar role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with people across different areas of the business.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- The confidence to use initiative and make decisions within your level of responsibility.
- A positive, solutions-focused approach to resolving problems.
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn and use CRM and other business systems.
- An interest in improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working.
Experience within glazing, construction, manufacturing or a related industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
What We Offer
- £30,000–£35,000 salary, depending on experience.
- Private healthcare after 2 years' service.
- 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
- Office-based role in Atherstone.
- A varied role with the opportunity to make a real impact as part of a newly created position.
- The opportunity to develop the role and take ownership of continuous improvement within the business.
- The chance to work alongside an experienced Project Management team delivering high-end residential glazing projects.
The Opportunity
As this is a new position within the business, there is genuine scope for the successful candidate to help shape how the role develops.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just want to complete a list of tasks, but who wants to understand how the business operates, spot opportunities to improve things and become an integral part of the Project Management function.
If you're highly organised, enjoy working with people and are the kind of person who naturally looks for ways to make things run more efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.
