Basketball Coach (Worcester Elite Basketball Camp)
Are you passionate about basketball and inspiring young athletes? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Basketball Coaches to join our team for the Worcester Elite Basketball Camp at the University of Worcester from Sunday 16th August to Friday 21st August 2026.
About the Role
As a Basketball Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and challenging coaching sessions in a fun and safe environment. You will also support campers throughout their experience, ensuring their wellbeing and development both on and off the court. Accommodation and meals are provided to staff for the duration of the camp.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality basketball coaching sessions that are fun, engaging, and development focused.
- Supervise and ensure the safe movement of campers between locations in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Support campers in their daily routines, ensuring they are awake and ready for breakfast and in their rooms at the agreed bedtime.
- Report any injuries to the camp sports therapists.
- Educate campers on injury prevention techniques.
- Assist the Camp Director with any additional duties as required.
- Maintain and enhance your own professional development through training opportunities.
- Promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all campers.

Additional Information
This role involves working with individuals under 18 years old. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Records Check / Barred List Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
