Duties
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading goods using appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Delivering furntiure to customers homes throughout the Northeast.
- Support the safe transportation of materials by helping secure loads and ensuring proper handling during transit
- Conduct materials handling activities, including heavy lifting and moving items to designated areas efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory movements in accordance with company procedures
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience with warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving processes
- Good time keeping and personal hygiene
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of materials handling best practices to ensure safety and efficiency during load & unload activities
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
Pay: £13.50 per hour
