We are looking for a Product Owner to join our FM&M (Fundraising Marketing and Media) Applications team, ensuring the RNLI's CRM platform delivers maximum value to the organisation by enabling colleagues, volunteers and supporters to engage effectively with the RNLI through reliable, user-focused and continuously improving CRM capabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference. You will be coming into this new role at an interesting time as we shape the organisation to take on the challenges of the future with the delivery of our 5-Year Plan (2026 to 2030) in support of our overall RNLI strategy 2040.
As FM&M Product Owner you will be responsible for the strategic ownership, adoption, optimisation and continuous improvement of the RNLI's CRM platform and associated tools and capabilities. Working closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, technology teams and data teams, you will take ownership, define and maintain the CRM backlog, roadmap, prioritise demand, champion user needs and ensure that CRM capabilities support organisational objectives.
You will lead and develop a team of CRM Specialists, creating a high-performing, resilient and continuously improving function whilst ensuring key knowledge and capabilities are sustained for the future
Acting as the primary business and technical owner of the CRM product you will balance strategic outcomes, business priorities, user experience, platform capability, operational stability and value delivery, while providing leadership across CRM-related initiatives, ensuring that investments in CRM technology deliver measurable benefits to the organisation.

- Demonstrable product ownership experience
- Experience managing enterprise CRM platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining product roadmaps.
- Experience defining and prioritising backlogs and requirements.
- Proven experience working with third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
- Has supported organisational change and technology adoption.
- Experience in managing internal and external suppliers or vendors
- Knowledge of Fundraising and Marketing
- Excellent communications, team building and negotiation skills.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
