About the role
Rosie Nightingale Homecare is an established, CQC registered domiciliary care company, and we're now branching out into supported living. We're opening a brand new supported living house in Bolton and are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead it from the ground up.With our regulatory foundations and an experienced care team already in place, this role is about getting the new house set up, staffed and ready to deliver outstanding, person-centred support.
You will work closely with our Business Development Manager to build referral relationships and grow the service.Because the house isn't yet operational, the role starts part time at 20 hours per week and flexible focused on mobilisation: policies, recruitment, systems and commissioning relationships.
As the service grows and occupancy builds, there is scope for the hours and the role to grow with it.What you'll be doingLeading the setup and mobilisation of the new supported living housePutting policies, procedures and systems in place ready for a compliant launchWorking closely with our Business Development Manager to build commissioner and referrer relationships Recruiting, inducting and training the initial support teamDeveloping person centred support around individuals' needs, choice and independenceEnsuring the service meets all CQC Fundamental Standards from the outset.
What we're looking forProven experience managing services for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities (essential)- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in a CQC regulated setting
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards)- Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and the Single Assessment Framework
Confidence to build a service from scratch and work autonomously- Enhanced DBS (or eligibility to obtain one)
What we offer- £32,000–£35,000 per year FTE (pro-rata), depending on experience- Hybrid working a mix of home and on-site during the setup phase
