DegreeSix is a specialist SEN agency working closely with schools across Birmingham. We support pupils across mainstream and specialist settings, from Early Years through to secondary, who require additional support with their learning, communication, behaviour and emotional development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or within small groups with varied needs such as Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour, SEMH, Early Life Trauma, Complex Needs and Learning Difficulties!
- Acting as a positive role model and mentor, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.
- Using de-escalation and behaviour management strategies to create a calm, safe, and supportive environment.
We’re Looking For People Who Have:
- Experience supporting children or young people (Minimum of 1 month experience within a school required!)
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour support.
- Team teach trained, behaviour management training (desirable not essential)
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
