We are recruiting an experienced decorator to join our team to undertake works on insurance reinstatement and general maintenance/refurbishment projects throughout Glasgow and the central belt.
All aspects of decorating will be undertaken within this role.
This is a client facing role therefore applicants must be reliable, punctual and have strong interpersonal skills.
Candidates are expected to have their own basic hand tools.
A company vehicle will be provided.
Competitive rate of pay, negotiable based on skillset and experience.
An immediate start is available.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Preparation of surfaces by, filling, sanding, priming etc.
- Ames taping and filling.
- Emulsion to ceiling & walls
- Application of gloss, stain, varnish etc to woodwork
- Coving installation.
- Paper hanging including wide vinyl, Muraspec etc.
- All aspects of internal decoration within domestic and light commercial properties.
- All aspects of external decoration to domestic and light commercial properties.
- Ad-hoc duties, assisting other trades as and when required.
Other skills will be beneficial but not essential, for example, plastering, tiling etc.
Requirements:
- Proof of trade qualifications eg SVQ Level 2 & 3
- Valid UK driving license
- Right to work in the UK
- Basic Disclosure checked
- 5+ years experience.
Pay: £16.50-£19.00 per hour

- painting and decorating: 5 years (required)

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
