Responsibilities
- Greeting patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Managing appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently
- Answering phone calls, emails, and enquiries promptly and courteously
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating information as needed
- Handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Coordinating with dental staff to ensure patient flow runs smoothly
- Managing correspondence and ensuring all patient documentation complies with confidentiality standards
- Assisting with general office duties to support the smooth running of the practice
Skills
- Proven office experience, ideally within a healthcare setting
- Strong administrative skills with excellent organisational abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software and MS Office suite
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards patients and colleagues
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping and appointment scheduling
