Advanced Water Technologies is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our growing office team.
This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role supporting the day-to-day finance function of the business. The position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and working closely with our in-house systems, which support invoicing, purchasing and job-related financial activity across the company.
The role
You will support the finance team and wider business by ensuring financial data is accurately processed and maintained. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and supplier statements, ensuring accuracy and timely posting
- Supporting sales invoicing and job-related billing through the company’s in-house software system
- Maintaining and updating financial and job data within internal systems
- Assisting with credit control and customer account queries
- Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
- Supporting payment runs and general ledger administration
- Working closely with operational and administrative teams to resolve invoice and job costing queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records and document control
- Assisting with general finance administration and ad-hoc duties as required

- Is proactive and willing to learn internal processes and systems
Requirements
- At least 1 year’s experience in an accounts or finance administration role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and standard office systems
- Experience using accounting software and/or internal business systems would be an advantage
