Job Description

We’re looking for a nurturing, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming and well-established nursery setting in Connah's Quay. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in early years education, supporting the development and wellbeing of babies and young children in a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0–5.
- Support the physical, emotional, and educational development of each child.
- Assist with planning and delivering activities in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (preferred).
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE or equivalent) is desirable.
- A warm, caring, and patient approach to working with children.
- A valid Enhanced DBS (on the update service) or willingness to apply for one.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
