We are looking for a professional, compassionate, and resilient Patient Advisor/Receptionist to join our busy GP surgery team.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients, managing a high volume of telephone calls, welcoming patients at reception, booking appointments, processing information accurately, and supporting the smooth running of the practice.

This role can be challenging at times. You may be supporting patients who are anxious, distressed, unwell, or frustrated. The ability to remain empathetic, patient, and professional is essential. Our shift timings are 8am to 2pm, 12.30pm to 6.30pm and 7.15am to 1pm. Each 30 hour week is made up of a combination of those shifts.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist / patient service representative or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Emis Web & Docman
- Familiarity with medical coding and administration
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
