Housekeeping Assistant – South Causey Inn
South Causey Inn is looking for an experienced and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate must have previous experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
- Change bed linen, towels and other room amenities.
- Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise rooms and public areas.
- Ensure rooms are presented to a clean, comfortable and welcoming standard for guests.
- Restock toiletries, cleaning supplies and room amenities as required.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items or missing equipment promptly.
- Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of the housekeeping team.
- Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the Inn.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hotel cleaning is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy hospitality environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- A friendly and professional attitude towards guests and colleagues.
