We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie for JOOD Restaurant in Manchester city centre. The successful candidate will assist kitchen team to deliver modern and accessible food with real focus on freshness and flavour.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes.
- Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
- Assist with Health and Safety Management.
- Assist with the management of Food Hygiene practices.
- Train Junior/Commis Chefs.
- Oversee Kitchen Maintenance and Food Safety Standards.
- Monitor quality and stock levels of ingredients.
- Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as Chef de Partie.
- NVQ Level 2
- Food Safety (Level 1 and 2)
- Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management.
- Good understanding of computer programs (MS Office, Restaurant Management Programs, POS etc.).
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Open, flexible and adaptable to changes in work demands, people and situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Team player.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
