We are looking for a full time driver to join our team. We are family based company in Guildford and are looking for someone to load/unload the days work alongside a porter who will travel with you to deliver and collect from our customers across Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, London and Berkshire.
You should have a customer friendly approach and be willing to provide a first class level of service to all customers.
For insurance purposes, all applicants must be over 25 years of age to comply with our vehicle insurance policy.
Pay is £13.06 to £14.50 dependant on experience.
Main duties:
- Assist in preparing orders for hire
- Work with porters to provide an efficient level of service to our customers
- Quality check items to ensure they are suitable for hire
- Support warehouse colleagues when required
- Represent the company in a polite and professional manner
Key Tasks:
· Ensure all hired items are loaded and unloaded correctly and safely for delivery
· Work with the porter to ensure all hired and returned items are present
· Clean all returned hired items and put away in the correct location ready for rehire
· Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and filed in the correct location
· Provide a friendly, efficient delivery and collection service for our customers
· Complete daily safety checks, safe loading / securing load of vehicle
· Maintenance, legislative regulations must be adhered to
· High driving standards must be maintained at all times
Pay: £13.06-£14.50 per hour
