Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Casual Cleaner to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain hygiene in common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, kitchens, and hallways by following established cleaning protocols.
- Restock supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times.
- Use janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify cleanliness issues or maintenance needs and report them promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning activities.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently and support a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow safety procedures diligently.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately.
- Flexibility to work casual hours as needed, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
