Pharmacy Assistant – Distance Selling Pharmacy
Location: Bishop's Stortford, CM22
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Weekend shifts available)

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy distance selling pharmacy.
This is a non-patient-facing role, with no customer contact, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment where accuracy and efficiency are key.
You will play an important role in supporting the safe and timely dispensing and dispatch of prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking medicines accurately from stock.
- Labelling prescriptions.
- Packing medicines ready for dispatch.
- Checking orders against prescription paperwork.
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries.
- Stock replenishment and rotation.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Supporting the wider pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently.

- Is flexible and willing to learn.
Previous pharmacy or warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

About the Role
This position is physically active and involves standing for long periods, regular lifting of stock and working to daily prescription targets. Accuracy, efficiency and a positive attitude are essential.
