About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Full-Time Deli Assistant to join our busy team.
This role would be ideal for a keen home cook, experienced cook, or chef looking for a better work-life balance with more sociable working hours while still enjoying a hands-on food preparation role.
Following full training, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the deli section, ensuring our customers receive high-quality food and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking a range of fresh deli products.
Presenting and displaying products to a high standard.
Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Managing stock levels and ensuring products are fresh and well presented.
Taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the deli section after training.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
A passion for cooking and preparing fresh food.
Previous experience in a deli, kitchen, café, catering environment, or as a chef is desirable but not essential.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A clean, organised, and tidy approach to work.
Good timekeeping and reliability.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
