The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) is looking to appoint a highly organised and detail-oriented Cover and Data Administrator to join our busy data team. This role is available on a fixed-term basis for 12 months for 14 hour per week, worked across two days.
This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our Senior School, supporting the smooth coordination of daily cover arrangements and the accurate management of school data. Reporting to the Head of Data & Timetabling, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the school by coordinating cover for colleague absences, maintaining student records, managing attendance and parents' evening systems, and supporting assessment administration.
You will also contribute to the preparation of statutory data returns, assist with the creation and maintenance of the school timetable, oversee student admissions and leavers' processes, and support the implementation of administrative systems. Working closely with colleagues across the school, you'll help ensure our data is accurate, compliant and supports the best possible experience for students and colleagues.
We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented administrator with excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion. Experience in an educational setting or with school management systems such as iSams would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided. Above all, you'll be a proactive team player with a commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and delivering a high standard of service.
