About the Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Administrator to join our team at Newberry International Produce.
This is a varied administration role supporting a range of operational activities across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing information, raising purchase orders, updating business systems, and ensuring key documentation is completed accurately and on time.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and process purchase orders using business systems.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers and spreadsheets.
- Update information across internal and third-party systems.
- Monitor and follow up outstanding actions with suppliers and external partners.
- Process goods receipts and maintain stock and transactional records.
- Prepare and distribute routine reports and management information.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and business documentation.
- Respond to administrative enquiries and ensure information is communicated accurately.
- Assist with the coordination of operational activities and related administration.
- Undertake general administrative duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous administration experience.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive and positive approach to problem solving.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience of ERP systems, purchasing administration or supply chain administration would be beneficial but is not essential.
