HW Facilities is an established Facilities Management Company providing commercial cleaning and support services across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Cover Cleaning Operative to join our team at AXA Haverhill. This role involves providing cover for sickness, annual leave, and other periods of absence, ensuring the site remains cleaned to the highest standards.
Due to the nature of the role, working hours may vary depending on cover requirements, so flexibility is essential.
Job Summary:
As a Cover Cleaning Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our client. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties and ensuring high standards are maintained whenever cover is required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will:
- Provide cleaning cover for sickness, annual leave, and other absences.
- Carry out cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washroom cleaning, and waste removal.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Report any maintenance, health and safety, or cleaning concerns promptly.
- Work safely and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive working relationships with site staff and colleagues.
Skills and Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience.
- A flexible and reliable approach to work.
- Good attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
