Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Field Sales Surveyor. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by promoting and selling home lift solutions to our clients. This varied role involves meeting customers on-site, conducting surveys, and managing enquiries generated through incoming leads, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through to sale.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the internal sales team / project managers to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Negotiating and closing deals ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Prospecting new clients, this could be via construction sites, ‘door knocking’ and cold calling.
- Business development and maintaining relationships with current clients, IE developers, architects.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Ensure all surveys, measurements, and technical information are accurately recorded and communicated to internal teams.
- To learn our products and be knowledgeable of the lifts at the showroom. Training and shadowing sessions on the products will be provided.
- To be the link to the Head Office to keep information current and up to date.
Requirements
- Sales experience in a dealership and/or field-based environment is essential.
- A driving license is essential.
- Self-confidence and good relationship building skills.
- Comfortable cold-calling and able to think on your feet.
- A good eye for the details.
- The ability to adapt to change as we constantly improve our business.
- To be a highly motivated individual, hungry to succeed and be the best.
- Able to persuade and influence potential sales over the line.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable proposing ideas and proposals to management.
