At Onyx Civils, we don’t just move dirt; we deliver the infrastructure that connects the South West. Based in Shaftesbury, we tackle a diverse portfolio of civil engineering contracts for Tier 1 clients across Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, and heavily into the Bristol area.
Because our project pipeline is growing, we are looking for a sharp, proactive Site Supervisor who knows how to run a tight ship, keep teams motivated, and maintain the highest safety standards on the ground. If you’re self-employed, driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead from the Front: Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to Tier 1 specifications.
- Personnel Management: Direct onsite sub-contractors and internal teams, keeping morale high and productivity sharp.
- Client Interface: Act as a key point of contact on-site, upholding Onyx Civils' reputation for reliability and quality.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety protocols, conduct tool-box talks, and manage site documentation.
What You’ll Need (The Non-Negotiables)
- CSCS Card (Valid and relevant)
- SSSTS (Site Supervisors' Safety Training Scheme)
- Experience: Proven track record in project and personnel management within civil engineering.
- Logistics: Full UK Driving Licence and your own reliable transport.
