Job overview
Etna is a family run Sicilian restaurant on New Street, established 1975. We are looking for waiting staff to join us for weekend service, looking after tables and making sure our customers have a good evening. Many of our regulars have been coming for years, so we care about how people are looked after. The weekend hours are fixed, so it suits someone who wants regular shifts they can plan around.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat customers
- Take food and drink orders and serve them
- Answer questions about the menu
- Set up before service and reset the restaurant afterwards
- Work with the kitchen to keep service running smoothly
What you will need
- A friendly, professional manner with customers
- The ability to stay calm when the restaurant is busy
- Attention to detail and good timekeeping
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Availability at weekends, daytimes and evenings
- To be 18 or over, as the role involves serving alcohol
