Job Overview
In this role, you will lead on the delivery for all events within the Health Assembly portfolio, ensuring each event is a nurtured, with measurable growth in alignment with the company's projection. You will be responsible for driving the business by building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships, actively contacting new and existing clients. You will take a proactive approach to sales, leveraging software tools to manage leads and track progress effectively. You will also contribute to strategic pitches and creative campaigns for mBody Media’s PR clients, playing a key role in expanding our influence across the health and wellness sector.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Utilise our software for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales activities.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress towards targets, and market insights for senior management.
Experience
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in using software tools, particularly Monday.com, for managing sales processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
