ROLE: Senior Electrical Team Lead
HOURS: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (with on call) - 7:30am - 4pm
LOCATION: Portsmouth (3 sites)

We're looking for an Engineering Lead /Supervisor (Electrical) to oversee planned and reactive maintenance across three client sites, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on supervisory role, combining technical expertise with leadership and compliance responsibility.

Role Responsibilities
- Supervise and deliver electrical maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites.
- Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with schedules and contractual requirements.
- Lead, manage and support a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with Mitie and site Health & Safety policies.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and site rules.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and actively participate in training, appraisals, and development activities.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent electrical qualification
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance
What we're looking for
- Experience in Team Leading or Supervising in Facilities/Engineering.
- Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work or relevant compliance understanding.
- IT literacy, with the ability to accurately record work and documentation.
- Willingness to join a call-out rota and hold a full UK driving licence.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS/ECC and IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
