Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Noodle Stop Brighton. The successful candidate will help prepare and cook food to a high standard while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food items according to company recipes and standards.
- Cook and assemble menu items during service.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organised.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Support team members during busy service periods.
- Report any maintenance or food safety issues to management.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
